Menstrual cycles and moon cycles are profoundly tied in spiritual texts, folklore and ancient tales. It seems like an old way of being and more so a myth than truth. Can the modern woman really cycle up with the moon?
Yes... the answer is yes.

Ritualize the healing.
It was around 5 years ago when I kinda had a breakdown.
I had put in the paraguard iud in a couple months prior, and my cycle was becoming very irregular. During menstruation, I would be doubled over with intense cramping and bleed through everything I owned. I had no idea what was going on, all I could do was feel was the pain, and I wondered-
Do I really have to suffer like this?
Ever since I started on my natural healing path, I turned to herbs for medicine.
A teacher once told me many of the herbs for women's health have silver backs--an old wives tale suggest they were touched by the moon.
I practice herbalism in my own life, and have experienced the healing and relief herbs can provide. They really are our allies. Below are a few of the plants that have helps me with my premenstrual symptoms and bleeding time.
