Only a couple of years ago, I was lost in my own body.
I had no awareness of my cycle,
and I was suffering.
I felt misunderstood, directionless and longing for a connection-
I found comfort in the moon.
Every night I would make it a ritual,
I would quietly tip toe outside
and let the lunar light wash over me.
I received the divine feminine energy in all her glory, and my menstrual cycle synced.
La Luna was my mirror,
& I would move with every phase.
In this rhythm I felt a sense of belonging,
And whenever I did feel lost,
